I hope that many of you all got to see our first two Plays-in-the-Park productions, “1776” and "The Wedding Singer." Each were a huge success and we received rave reviews from the media and the public.

“HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL” will be taking center stage at Plays-in-the-Park beginning on Wednesday, August 4th, and running through Saturday, August 14th. You won’t want to miss this show. It is great fun for the entire family.

Finally, our 5th annual Labor Day Weekend Concert will feature the “Jukebox Heroes” by the Mahoney Brothers and The Fabulous Greaseband. This free concert will be held at the Stephen J. Capestro Theater in Roosevelt Park on Sunday, September 5th beginning at 4:00 PM. Gates will open at 3:00 PM, so don’t forget your lawn chair and prepare for a fantastic time.

I would also like to remind everyone that our free concerts series, “Music-in-the-Parks” is underway with all types of music being featured. You can find a listing of times, dates and musical groups performing on our website, or if you wish, you can call us at 732-745-3900 and ask for our summer Park Scenes Entertainment Guide to be mailed to your home.
